TWO BRANDS. ONE PURPOSE.

Queen of the Court started with me standing courtside, camera in hand, watching athletes pour everything they had into the game. As a coach, I knew the joy, the grit, and the heart that went into every point, but too often those moments disappeared when the whistle blew. I wanted players and families to have something lasting, a way to look back and see the hustle, the laughter, and the memories that made it all worth it.

What began as a passion project grew into Queen of the Court Media, a way to celebrate the volleyball community that has given me so much. My purpose is not just to capture action shots but to tell the bigger story, the team, the friendships, and the energy that makes this sport unforgettable.

Based locally with Milwaukee Sting Volleyball Club, but open for work with all clubs & programs around the Midwest Region.

Skylight Studios is rooted in two things that mean the world to me: my dog, Skylar, who was my sidekick through everything, and the idea of light itself. To me, light is the feeling of finally being comfortable, confident, and truly seen. That's the feeling I hope every person walks away with after a session at Skylight Studios.

My purpose with Skylight Studios is simple. I want portraits to feel like something you actually enjoy, not something you dread. Most of my clients show up nervous and worried they’ll look awkward. They always leave saying “that was actually fun.” That’s the magic I chase: giving you space to feel relaxed, to laugh, and to walk away with photos that look and feel like you.

At the end of the day, Skylight Studios is about creating a space where your personality can shine without pressure. You bring yourself, I’ll bring the camera and the vibes, and together we’ll make something you’ll be proud of.

FAQ

How do we book you?

You can book directly through my contact form, via email at qotcmedia@gmail.com for volleyball or portrait work, or shoot me a DM on Instagram @skylightstudiosmke or  @qotcmedia. Once we confirm the details, I’ll send over your official booking confirmation and payment info. Please give me at least 24-hours to reply.

What are your prices?

Pricing varies based on the type of shoot: individual sessions (volleyball and portrait), family sessions, team coverage, or full tournament packages. Contact Ari for more information.

For portrait work, do you offer outfit changes?

Absolutely! Bring a couple of looks so we can capture different sides of you!

How long does it take to get my photos and videos?

Typically within 7–10 days, but I’ll communicate timelines upfront. Rush edits are available upon request.

Do you offer payment plans?

I do! Life’s expensive. We can break your total into smaller payments if that makes things easier.

What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?

Join the club...I get it. My goal is to make it feel more like hanging out with a friend than posing for a stranger. I’ll give you prompts, movement cues, and probably make you laugh halfway through.

Can I book you for both Skylight and QOTC?

Please do! I love when my clients cross over, whether it’s senior portraits with Skylight and highlight reels with QOTC. We’ll tailor each to fit your vibe.
